Oh my goodness! My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights and loved the peace and quiet. Art and Nina and their son Gabe are wonderful hosts..super friendly place.. beautiful ecclectic home..warm and cozy. We will be back for sure!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Last Resort the night before starting a one-week kayak trip down the river. This was the perfect piece of comfort living before a rough and dirty trip! The grounds are so carefully cared for and in such a peaceful setting. We both wished we had booked more time there before the trip. The proprietor, Art, was perfectly kind and helpful, giving us advice on where to launch our kayaks (right from the property) and even helping to arrange storage for our truck during our trip. We certainly hope to come back.

This place is a gem! Quiet, peaceful, yet there is so much to do! It is within easy driving distance to Canada and the wonderful little towns just over the border. It is also close to several scenic drives and historic spots. We spent one day just at the resort. It is a bird watchers paradise!! Fishing on the Columbia River right on the property. The gardens are so beautiful, and full of butterflies and hummingbirds. There are places to just sit and reflect on the surrounding beauty. We loved grilling out with the amazing view of the river. The accommodations are comfortable. I have stayed at “The Last Resort” twice and love the cozy comfort of the suite. The main house provides beautiful bedrooms with views of the Columbia River. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable. They have made recommendations of places in the area and in Canada to visit. I have greatly enjoyed staying here!!

This place is perfect. The owners went above and beyond to help my daughter. The cabins are beautiful and the scenery is something I could never get used to. Thank you Art for helping my family. You are a terrific person.

Art and his family provide a wonderful lodging experience, with many different options to choose for. They are always my first choice whenever I travel to this part of the state. The cabins in town are perfect for one or two people.
