Real disappointment. LaQuinta has gone down hill if you were to go by this one. It looked like a motel in a downtown ghetto. If we were not so tired we would have left. Beds were comfortable and clean. Wear shoes in room unless you want to scrub the black off them for days. Oh yeah I forgot. The shower.....You get it to the temperature you want and then the water gets hot and scalds you. Then it goes ice cold. Most of my group waited until next destination.

Worst LaQuinta we’ve ever stayed in!! Stay away from this location! First off the room they gave us smelled strongly like urine. Then to top it off my husband got locked inside the laundry room because the door has no knob! Its broken. We kept calling the front desk and no answer so i walked over and the lady named “Jennifer” was not there. When she walked in i let her know the incident and she just brushed it off and said she has to help the customer that had just walked in even though i was in there waiting first! She kept hanging up on my husband when he called for someone to go help him! Another guest saw my husband locked in and tried helping as well but there was no way to open the door without tools, the guest went to the front desk and the lady also told him that she not going to help my husband until she is done checking in customer’s!! My husband was locked up in there for over 30 minutes!!This type of customer service is unacceptable!!... UPDATE: management contacted us and apologized for the incident, unlike the employee. Management was respectful and we appreciate that.

I would say it is average. They have done a decent job with keeping the rooms looking updated. Our room was clean. The did smell like a old hotel, not terrible but old. The walls are thin and the hotel is right on the freeway so road noise is loud. The bed is average comfort and our sheets were clean. Overall fine for a quick overnight especially for the price.

So this hotel was just your standard hotel. Nothing special. My major disappointment was that I booked through Wyndham 1-800 they quoted my $61 dollars a night that was great. Got to the hotel they increased the price to $71 a night and then made me pay an additional $100 per room security deposit. One of the worst check-in experience I have had. I am a Wyndham rewards member and there was no exceptions. I mainly only stay at Wyndham hotels because big the points and I have never had another hotel charge me $100.
