Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Colorado Springs East/Ballpark

THE BEST!!! Super safe, comfortable, well-appointed and BEST staff in the world! Late June, I got a call from a friend of 50 yrs. He and his wife were camping in S Colorado when she had a medical emergency. She was life flighted to Colorado Springs. He called me around 7PM to ask for my help on a safe place to sleep in his car. I lived there for over 30 yrs, but have since moved. I told him to hold tight and I would find a place for him to stay. I called Fairfield CS East Ballpark and talked to Scarlett, explained and asked if I could use my points to arrange a stay for my friend. I had to go through 800 customer service, but Scarlett told me she would watch for the reservation and help me, help him. Boy oh boy, did Scarlett, Destiny in Customer Service, Jared (asst GM), Jessica (GM) and Alexa with Marriott step up like it was their own family member. I only paid for 1 night with points, but he had to stay multiple nights until his wife was released. They took care of him, discounting his continued stay until his wife was released a few days later. Her prognosis was very bad. I talked to her on speaker and she thanked me, telling me to thank the staff at Fairfield and telling me she wanted to live long enough to see her daughter marry on Aug 1. She was at the wedding and was able to stay up until 8PM. She died about a month ago. I should have written this post back in June, but I was so heartbroken that I couldn't find the words. I hope this helps others know that they will be well cared for by this Fairfield Inn. They took incredible care of my longtime friend. For that, I will be forever grateful. I wish I could express myself better, but suffice it to say that it was like they put a big warm blanket over my friend, his wife and family and myself and husband, who were trying to do our best as friends from a long distance away. They hugged us all and made us feel like this world is a wonderful place, full of wonderful people!!! Consider yourselves hugged back Fairfield Inn!

This place, and Jarrod, are great. Pretty last minute we needed a wedding block and they allow you to make a block of up to 10 rooms with no attrition rate! This was an amazing offer for us after having a hard time with the complex contract from the Antlers downtown. Rooms were clean, service was great, and we loved working with Jarrod!

The friendliness of the staff is frankly shocking! Every employee we interacted with was genuinely friendly. They would greet us and ask about our day. Those we saw more than once remembered us and would ask specific questions about our trip. Besides this, the hotel was super clean and I felt they did a great job balancing safety due to Covid and service.

Incredibly friendly staff that takes the time to get to know you no matter how long your stay is. Beyond happy with this hotel. Incredibly accommodating.

Location lake front is excellent. I got a free upgrade to an upper floor room. The gym is great.
