OYO Hotel Denver I-70 Northeast

To begin with the front desk was very accommodating and helped me throughout my entire ordeal. This was not the hotel for me but for those looking for a love motel or something that they can have for a few hours this is a good place.nnWith that being said I will start to tell you my experience because there aren't a lot of reviews on this place and for those that may not know what they are getting into this can save time and money.nnNot knowing very well which hotels to book I used Expedia to find 1. The reviews there were not very descriptive of how the experience of the hotel was going to be. There was a lot of different people walking around the hotel area. The lock and door of the 1st Room that I went to was broken. There was some stain on the bed.nThe front desk understood my problem and gave me another Room they said to try my luck this time. Walking to my Room there were even more people in the hallway and I even got offered to buy weed. There was dispensary not 20' from the hotel... The 2nd Room I went into the door looked like it was also broken as well as the lock. Every time I try to lock the door would unlock itself. I was afraid that somebody would try to break into the Room while I was asleep. The room next to me door was slamming and opening every 6 minutes. So I voice my concerns to the front desk and they were able to refund me through expedia. I used hotels tonight and found something a lot safer..

No longer OYO and is now America best value inn. Owner is nice. you get what you pay for And from experience it’s far better than any motels on Colfax if that’s saying much

The motel needs remodeling and yes it’s not the place id being my kid or family but it was for me and my husband to sleep for the night and everything is pretty old but I gave it a 5 star because everything was clean the bathroom, bed, sink ECT. The clerk at the front desk was nice. My husband and I were looking For a cheap spot to spent the night and I’m happy with the price. We had a great rest and now we’re ready for our adventure in Colorado!!!

This place is nasty!! And very unsafe. We left without staying.. The front desk lady had to check to make sure there was no one in our reserved, prepaid room, and assured us it was empty. NOPE!!nnThere Was someone in our room who would not leave!!nnHe said he lived there. Someone else showed up with a BASEBALL BAT, and the two of them talked and pointed to me and my children, while we sat in our car. My children cried and begged to leave, so we left without staying. Everyone we saw looked like they've been on hard drugs for a long time. Gross!!

The rooms are not bad at all plus staff were great.
