I gave two stars based off the lack of customer service.nI love my bike, at least I think i do, i have only been able to ride it twice. Picked up my bike from the shop in denver, assembled, rode the bike twice and on my second ride to work the peddle arm slipped. It appears the metal that made up the arm was alot softer than the metal spoke it attached to. Well i have called and email customer service numerous times with no response whatsoever. The customer service phone number goes straight to voicemail and the voicemail is full.nLike I said I love the bike but am very let down in the customer service. Have only been able to ride the bike twice... rest of the time it has been sitting without one peddle in hopes that the company would replace the part. Seems I will be replacing it myself through a third party.
Received my bike only for the front wheel to be bent and scratched. Attempted to contact them multiple times just for them to answer a month later and pretend to fix the situation. Now Ive been completely ghosted and cannot reach anyone. Everything about this company screams sketchy and a ripoff. Shop elsewhere. If you buy a bike from them they most likely use parts they refurbished from the town dump to pass off as new and custom.
*Update* Bike fell apart after about 15 miles of use. No response from their customer service department. 5/5 on initial customer service. 0/5 on build quality. Do not buy! Just ordered my second Big Shot (sold my first when I moved to the mountains). They were out of a part and contacted me with a list of options. Once they got everything together they put the bike together for me and hand delivered it to my house in Denver.
I ordered 5 items online. It’s obvious they didn’t ship the 5th and biggest item, a helmet because the other items were shipped in an envelope and I was only provided one tracking number. I’ve called, emailed, and left messages for 2 weeks with no response. Terrible customer service and even worse of a feeling as a customer. I hate it here.
I was given a gift certificate for $250 for a custom cruiser bike for my birthday, and then the company stopped producing cruisers. When I inquired about a refund, I was told by the new owner of the company that they didn't have a record of the purchase even though I had the certificate in hand. Poor record keeping on your end should not result in a huge loss on mine. I feel like we were stolen from.
