My teenage daughter needed a backpack for a 6 day trek this August. Eric at Jax in Lafayette spent over an hour with us finding exactly the right fitting backpack. Having a correctly fit pack made a huge difference in how much she enjoyed the trip (a lot) and her willingness to plan another trip (very). I don't know of any other place whose employees have the knowledge and time to help the customers select their gear. This is the very best place!
Super friendly staff (thank you Jonathan in footwear tonight) and top quality merchandise. Pricey, but not over inflated - fairly represents the quality brands sold here.
John was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He helped me make an informed purchase and was clearly interested in providing me with knowledge, while not being a pushy salesperson. Great experience, would highly recommend!
