Booked through Expedia which was fine, but noticed a $24 charge on our credit card on top of the $50 hold for incidentals, went to ask on check out why it was charged, the lady said it was for parking and that it's stated on the booking confirmation the cost, however, it was never advised when the check in gentleman took our card we would be charged he just told us to park anywhere on the lot, it's an open car parking lot with parking in front of shops etc, blatant rip off. I suggest not telling them you have a car. This tactic soured the otherwise pleasant stay for us, I was particularly pleased with the bathroom mnbut would not stay here again due to this experience.

The hotel was great and we loved all the dining options in walking distance. The only problem we had was the shower pressure was not strong at all. We couldn’t wait to get back home and take really good showers. If this wasn’t such a problem even after days of us trying to turn the shower head to get good water pressure it just wouldn’t produce good pressure. I would have gave 5 stars but that was an issue for us.

The location and room was great and the option for free parking was good. The only issue we encounter was the water pressure in the shower was very low. We tried turning the shower head but the pressure remained the same. We couldn’t wait to get back home to take really good showers due to the fact we weren’t fully satisfied with our shower experience. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars. I would have given 5 stars.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything you could possibly want was within walking distance.

Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and inviting. I have stayed at the DoubleTree and the Hamton Inn right in the same area. The Garden Inn is definitely the best stay. You feel valued here. We will be back!
