Desk very friendly. Room not bad except we got a pet friendly room. They have carpet in the room. Now anyone with pets knows what will happen when you bring your pet in and they smell others.... Also the room smelled from past with spots all over the carpet. Laminate floors would be the smart and sanitary way to go!
Very happy here. No issues to report. Loved the hot tub and pool area. Never used the gym, but liked that I could have. So many restaurants within walking distance, esp. IHOP and Rita's Tacos. I liked being able to park in front of my room and go straight in. No long hallways full of people.
Our bathroom was not very clean. Thank goodness I packed Clorox wipes!! I’m grateful for the prepackaged breakfast. Also, I am grateful for the man that works at the lobby. I have left my phone in the room and have checked out already. I called the hotel, and he told me my phone was still there. Came back and got it. Honesty is the best policy. Great employee!.
The reservation process, room, and customer service as always, exceptional.... great teamwork. Not the hotel's fault on the following, but wanted to provide as noteworthy..
1. We understand due to COVID, there was a limited "grab and go" breakfast, and missed the dining room experience.
2. Was not able to use the spa, as hours did not begin until 4pm; however, swimming pool was nice and relaxing (only slightly cooler water temperature than expected).
3. Three-stars for location, as most of our visit involved stores and restaurants on "Main St.' Although proximity required driving to our destinations, the peaceful nature of neighborhood was welcome, as we reside in a large city with almost constant noise. (The peace was only shattered by 1 or 2 cars spinning their tires for a few moments, in one of the nearby businesses after midnight / again, not the hotel's fault).
Overall a wonderful stay, and professional staff.
We just knocked off 1 star based on the above comments.
If I could give 0 stars I would! The bed so SOOO uncomfortable, the shower stunk, and the shower head was so short, on top of that, there were roaches and ants in the room! I told the front desk and they didn’t seem to care about it too much. Definitely won’t be going back.
