Best Western Town & Country Inn

The stay was fine. The service after the stay was not. When I checked out, everything was fine. I got my receipt, I was charged for my 2 days stay, no complaints. Seven days later, I got charged for an additional 5 days. Even that wasn't a big deal. Mistakes happen, whatever. I called them up. The girl on the phone was initially confused, and I answered her questions with a mellow tone. Things were fine until that point. Then she started trying to argue with me about which date I checked out. I was polite but firm. " You checked out on the Y date." "No, that is not true." "That's what it says here." "Well, that is a mistake." So on and so forth. "I have the receipt for when I checked out." So on and so forth. I didn't raise my voice, but I insisted that they made a mistake somewhere. I even offered the possibility that someone else who I worked with stayed longer and the hotel accidentally charged it to the wrong card. But, no, she insisted that I was wrong. He was charged separately. And I am apparently lying about when I checked out. Finally, she said that they would credit it back to my card and then hung up. No apology. No nothing. That was rude... My call must have been dropped, I thought. So I called back, she picked up the phone, and immediately hung it up again. That is no way to do business. The worst part: the erroneous/fraudulent charges haven't been fully reimbursed. The hotel credited back 4 of the 5 erroneous/fraudulent days to my company's credit card, and my company will pursue whatever actions are necessary to get the 5th day credited back.

We were sorely disappointed with the room here. The carpet is dated and nasty, the room smells old and musty, and the sheets are rough. We have been on vacation this week, and the rooms we stayed in at other locations were less expensive and much much much more pleasant. We stopped here on our way home and honestly would have moved on if it weren't so late when we checked in. The two stars earned were for the following reasons. 1) The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the bathroom was accommodating. 2) The bathroom was moderately updated.

Very nice and homey. Clean room, nice workers. Grab and go breakfast was less than we expected but what can you do in these Covid times nowadays. Thanks for showing 2 SoCal girls a nice place that was out of town.😁😁

Great hotel in center of town but needs to be upgraded to allow cell phone charging w/o separate charger.

Just passing through for the night and got a room at the last minute. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We booked a king suite. The room itself was a bit dated feeling, mostly because of the carpet. Very well furnished though. The bed and pillows were so comfy!!! We had been sleeping on a rickety mattress that popped and squeaked every time we moved for the past week and a half so this soft and supportive king felt like heaven to us. I would stay here again without hesitation.
