Tall Timbers Lodge - Two Bedroom Cabin with Hot Tub

The cabin is huge but cozy. Kitchen rocks. The grassy yard surrounded by trees and mountains is amazing. Firepit rocks. The river is amazing.nnBest cabin ever!

We booked this cabin / house for a long vacation with my whole (multigenerational) family to enjoy. It was our summer splurge - and so disappointing. This place looks great in the pictures, but it was FILTHY when we arrived (even after management called to tell us the house wouldn't be ready on time due to the late arrival of a cleaning crew). There were mouse / rat droppings in many of the dishes, there was no soap or dishwasher detergent to wash them, one of the comforters in the bedroom had been urinated on by a pet, and the refrigerator had food and spills in it. The beds were made with mattress covers - not sheets, and they were filled with dirt in the terrycloth fabric. We rewashed all of them the night we arrived and were up until midnight doing it. On Google Maps, the property looks like its riverfront, however, it is not. It's a pretty good walk down to the river - and my husband had to use one of the axes left on the property to clear the path for my children. There is a hot tub, but it was also full of dirt - and it is situated next to the neighboring lot where there are ATVs running at all hours. It is not quiet or relaxing whatsoever. We dealt with management on the second day, and we were happy with the offer of compensation. However, when the check arrived, it was nowhere near what we were promised. Save your money, do not book through Vacasa. Book somewhere else and with a different management company.

This lodge is large and in charge! Gorgeous place, room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Little trail to the river is sweet to explore. Love the huge kitchen, lots of room for everyone to participate in cooking.
