Bought a Black Max from a local reseller $1400. They stopped selling the bikes and referred me to the company in Marysville. My battery never would charge. Had great response from Rudy when I called the repair/service center to troubleshoot, but minimal response from the main company. No warranty even though I have only had it less than a year. So had to buy a new battery and charger from Amazon (BlackMax doesnt sell replacement batteries) for $400.
Pilchuck Rentals also has electric-assist bicycles. Definitely a cool store.
I purchased two folding electric bikes to get around when we travel to our place down in Arizona. I had researched many online retailers, box stores and high end bike shops. Bottom line these bikes were the best bang for the buck. Jesse and the crew at Black Max in the Marysville location were very knowledgeable about the bikes and very friendly. Best of all they service the bikes in house and carry parts and accessories and they are always available for any questions we have on the bikes. Currently we have almost 200 miles on the bikes and all we have had to do to them is have the tires treated with kevlar to keep the tires form going flat. A service that took less than an hour to do at the Marysville location. Jesse had recommended it when we told him we were running into these spike covered things called goat heads in Arizona. Looking forward to putting on some more miles next trip!!
