I'm a frequent patron of this drugstore, as I have four prescriptions I fill monthly. The employees here are all genuinely kind and warmly personable and seem to actually enjoy assisting customers - the pharmacists exceptionally so. The place is clean and organized, with a comprehensive selection of the usual drugstore merchandise (essentially, a bit of everything). I would choose to shop here even if there was a branch closer to me.

Too much
I came to this Walgreens pharmacy to fill a prescription for the first time. Although I have health coverage, it doesn’t include prescription coverage, so I had to pay for it out of pocket. The pharmacy called me when my prescription was ready and warned me of “pretty steep price” I had to pay. The next time I saw my health care provider, she was absolutely astonished at how much I was charged for my medication at this pharmacy. Turns out, I was qualified for a huge discount, and the pharmacy HAD to be perfectly aware of it, but this pharmacy chose not to inform me about it. Although I understand that it’s not in their interest to help me save money, taking advantage of an uninformed first time patient and overcharging me $100 (!) is not what a decent pharmacy should do. I will from now on watch out for greedy pharmacy workers, and will never fill my prescription with Walgreens pharmacies again.
