Stunning house. You feel transported back in time. Your eyes don't know where to look because everything is so beautiful. They are the sweetest hosts. You leave there wishing they would adopt you. The bed was so comfy I considered paying for an extra night so I could lay in it all day after our yummy breakfast! Looking forward to any occasion to stay there again.
Loved staying at this beautiful B&B! Will stay again next time in Tacoma! Jane and Skip are great and very friendly and make a yummy breakfast in the morning!
First and foremost, the hospitality offered by the owners is above and beyond any hotel I've stayed in. They are incredibly personable and lovely people that make any stay a joy. I stayed in the topmost green room which had a twin and queen bed. The queen was very comfortable. The bathroom amenities were great and my room only had a standing shower which was fine with me. Unfortunately I missed out on the breakfast portion of the B&B, but the pumpkin bread and coffee was tasty. Location is nice. You're relatively close to some great places in Tacoma. All in all I would highly consider staying here again.
One of the nicest BNB's period...in Tacoma or anywhere. After a hectic, overloaded tour around Puget Sound, this was such a nice respite.nnThe night before we flew home, we enjoyed their lovely back patio as we sipped wine in the lush, subtropical confines (at this latitude!!!). There were hints of both New Orleans and San Francisco that flavored the 'care-free get-a-way' feeling during that time.nnThe hosts, Skip and Jane, are the kindest, most gracious, accommodating grandparents you never knew you had. Everything about staying here is warm and comforting, the innkeepers are just so welcoming and kind.nnHighly recommended, even as a destination unto itself.
She called to tell me I forgot my slippers! You've gotta love a hotelier who'll do that for you. The room was clean and pretty and comfortable. The bathroom spacious and lovely. Very homey. If your home was a nicely appointed B&B with a cook and a concierge. I'll definitely come back here.
