Spectacular customer service. With the national bike shortage, I'm very grateful that this location lets customers sign up for a waiting list. I got the bike I wanted two days after putting my name on the waiting list. Seth helped me out the whole time, and he was exactly the kind of sales representative you want to interact with. I was a first time bike shopper and he knew exactly what questions to ask to help narrow my search. Would definitely recommend shopping at this location.

Passion from employees to help you get the right product.nnHelen's in Manhattan Beach have been extremely helpful and patient despite extremely heavy business during the pandemic. They aren't in a hurry to get you out the door or peddle whatever is in stock.nnI worked mainly with Seth, and he has gone above and beyond any expectations to provide service. His passion for cycling and those of the other employees was obvious.nnIf there's any doubt that you're not sure what you need and are new to cycling, Helen's will help you find what you need, whether that's budget, activity, or accessory.nnI have been throughly impressed.

Responsible and appropriate safe-distancing protocols, accompanied by courteous and professional service. I have purchased my bikes and had them serviced exclusively at Helen's for 30 years. Happy to be a loyal customer.

Again, the point has been missed. What would have been best in this scenario is if I had been respected as a customer. I was not informed about the back room and I immediately left when told I was not allowed.nnPlease hold a customer service training for Sales Manager Greg, so he will be more equipped to treat customers kindly, and with more professionalism in the future. I would hate for anyone to have a degrading experience like this imposed by Sales Manager Greg. He put me in a corner with a strict 10 minute timer to charge my phone in order to get an Uber XL so I could get my two bikes out of there, I was sitting on the ground like a child in time out after spending over $150.nnI would recommend everyone reading this to go to REI which has great customer service and is cheaper.nnI am an original customer of Helen's Cycles in Marina del Rey and Santa Monica. I recently moved to a new neighborhood in Manhattan Beach and was in need of tubes and tires for my road bikes. I was stoked to take it to Helen's Cycles as I've had a pleasant experience with this bike shop before.nnI really wish I could give a stellar review for my first visit to Helen's Cycles in Manhattan Beach, but unfortunately I found myself in an unprofessional situation. As I was finishing up with the helpful service staff, my phone died as I was ordering an uber to pick me and my bikes up.nnA sales associate kindly placed my phone on a charger right by the counter. When I retrieved my phone, I was immediately accosted by Sales Manager Greg.nnI felt confused, embarrassed and extremely uncomfortable when I was told that I could not reach for my phone and then was taken to a corner of the store to charge it with a strict 10 minute time limit. When I responded to this erratic behavior, I was told to calm down.nnAs a customer of Helen's, I felt extremely disappointed by the unfair treatment. This is 2020, our phones will need charging sometimes in a store and a customer will come unprepared and needing assistance. It would've been really kind to have been assisted with such a small request so I could get my bikes and myself back home to a biking trip I was schedule to attend that day.nnFurthermore, I was looking forward to continue investing money into Helen's Cycles- with plans to do further upgrades and servicing with the Manhattan location-- however, this extremely unprofessional occurrence has unfortunately turned me off from ever returning.nnAs a business person, I take pride in treating my customers with the utmost care and respect, even if it's outside of my scope, I would not hesitate to accommodate.

After not having any suitable bikes in stock for a while, they finally got some in and contacted me. I found exactly what I was looking for and am very happy with my purchase.
