Beds are absolutely, positively uncomfortable. Had to call for more pillows, as the two in the room were insufficient. Staff was nice enough though. Seems like it is old apartments, with some still being apartments.
It has a playground that kids love. Also you can rent bikes there to ride them on a trail to the beach but you may not ride them on the beach. In longbeach there is lots of stuff you can also do!
It was a great stay at Long Beach. The home was beautifully decorated and was well equipped with everything from a free WiFi to tv, kitchen stuff, sports stuff, towels, duvets, comforters.
You'll feel right at home if you like the 80's hotel vibe, worth it for the private beach access and indoor pool and spa, both of which were relatively empty over Thanksgiving week!
Great place to stay, close to downtown and a short walk to the beach.
