There is no sound proofing in walls and ceilings. I had a family of at least 47 above me (none of whom knew how to talk in their inside voices) with a long nailed dog who barked not all the time, but the 2am and 4am bits weren't great. The people aren't really the problem, the lack of sound proofing is. The room was otherwise well appointed and beautifully, but simply, decorated in the modern style. Maybe try for an upstairs room?
Great cute spot close to everything. Rooms were very clean, loved the look. As stated before walls were a little thin but not anything we couldn’t deal with. Will for sure stay here again if we come back to the area.
No AC.
Fantastic, charming, CLEAN inn by the sea! Stayed here for one evening on a PCH trip southbound. After a quick check-in process with a friendly host, we found an impeccably clean, minimalist room. I have stayed in luxury hotels that are not this clean and tidy. Major kudos for this. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for items on the bathroom vanity, and nice big tv to help unwind after a long day. No AC, but a fan is provided to keep air moving. Staying in early November, this was not an issue and the small heater below the window kept the room warm and cozy. The walls are thin, as others have mentioned. Let it be some comfort that check-in documentation makes mention of a strict quiet hours policy. The place seemed to quiet down by 9pm, and was never obtrusively loud anyway. Should I stay in Long Beach again, I will definitely come back here.
Very clean. Beautifully remodeled. Great low rates. Within walking distance of beach, restaurants, shops, & more.
