My bf booked this place as a surprise on the second leg of our PCH road trip and it was the best sweetest surprise ever! Our third floor room faced the ocean and our view was just spectacular both day and night. We started our stay off with a toast on the balcony and then spent some time listening to music by our fireplace while also taking in the sounds of the ocean. The bathroom was also perfect, with a jacuzzi tub opening up to both the fireplace & balcony. It was so nice to wake up to the bright sun shining through all the windows. We were able to get an extended check out so that we could enjoy the free bike rentals and explore the bike trails, boardwalk, and coastline. The Inn had so many extras that we didn’t have time to enjoy, like the outdoor heated pool under the stars, and the cozy lobby filled with sundries, hot coffee, good wine, and fun board games. We can’t wait to return and stay for a week-hope he surprises me again soon!

The Inn has gorgeous views, which is why we returned for a weekend getaway. But there were room maintenance issues this time. The bathroom window had no handle to open the window. The tub dripped continuously. The tub faucet is loose and appears ready to break off, and the same applied to the lock on the room door. I didn't see issues like this the last time I stayed at the Inn and found this surprising for the price we paid to stay. Also, the bed was horribly uncomfortable and firm. I'm not sure if this is just my preference (at home we have a memory foam mattress with a memory foam topper), but even sitting on the bed I noticed that it had no give. As a side sleeper, I kept waking up in the middle of the night because I could feel pressure points. We didn't have a problem with the bed at our last stay but this time we both had difficulty sleeping and woke up with sore necks and backs.nnI'm not sure if restaurant staff are overwhelmed or just new. The first night we called the restaurant for take-out and were told that we'd get a call when the order was ready. We never got the call. I'm not sure how long our food sat before we finally decided to check on the status of our order and then picked it up. Breakfast was consistently tasty but dinner was forgettable. That was disappointing since we LOVED the food at our last stay.nnThe Inn hasn't figured out their Covid protocols quite yet. The check-in and check-out experience was confusing and disappointing. I got the e-mails directing me to check in online, but when I arrived, there was no room key in the room so we had to go to the front desk to complete check-in. What's the point of checking in online then? For check-out, I followed the link sent to me but received an error saying the system was unavailable, so I had to check out in person as well.nnI'm not sure if we'll come back again after this stay :(

Beautiful setting right on the beach! Modern, clean, romantic Inn with all the amenities you could need. Perfect place for a quiet getaway. Restaurant across the way had great food (and delivers room service). We will definitely be back!

Be very careful when booking a room here. It has the look and feel of a resort, but the service is that of a sketchy, middle-of-nowhere roadside Motel. It is not obvious from the listing, but about half of the rooms are in completely different buildings from the one pictured and have no waterfront views. I booked 3 nights here (for about $350 per night) for my honeymoon and got a room facing south...I could’ve got a non-waterfront view for much cheaper, and I really wish I would’ve gone somewhere else. The only reason that I’m not giving them the worst possible rating is that they’re dog friendly.

This is the most intimate and cozy place to stay where rustic and industrial meet up. Fireplace, deep soaking tub with jets, confortable bed and coffee. Great views with balcony. Great amenities also indoor swimming pool, barrel spa and pickle fish restaurant or room service. We loved it and will be returning.
