I love the Adrift - it unique, and offers all sorts of cool amenities I really appreciate each time I stay there. I love the bikes, and took advantage of a wonderful beach ride - I love the pool. The food is incredible. One change I would love to see is larger coffee cups at the station in the lobby...the coffee in the room isn't nearly as good as what is down in the lobby and those cups are ridiculously small.

We loved the pool and it was the perfect temperature. Our kids enjoyed the pool, paved pathways, and the beach. There were two complimentary glasses of wine in the room - so thoughtful! The soaps are locally made and smell wonderful. We had no problems with noise or disturbance.nnThe room didn't appear dirty at all but there was a slight dog smell in the corner by the bed. I suppose that goes with the territory of a hotel that accepts all pets. The restaurant is very expensive; we went elsewhere.

Pickled Fish was great! The location is hard to beat. The room was nice - the industrial chic decor was kind of fun. Coffee in the lobby was very good. A couple notes on room for improvement: I did call before making the reservation and ask about the best ocean views and was suggested the East Building suites. While it might be a more direct ocean view, I didn't realize you also look over a parking lot...so that was a little disappointing. In retrospect, the West Building suites underneath the restaurant probably would have been a bit more romantic for an anniversary weekend. Also, the mattress in our room was pretty awful. We both ended up in the middle by the end of the night. I mentioned that when we dropped keys at the lobby upon departure and it sounds like you're slowly replacing mattresses.

We had very little interaction with your staff - just at check in as we didn't have the room cleaned while we were there or eat at the restaurant -- The room was clean, the towels were nice and the bathroom large. The room also worked out well for our dog. We would just mention that it would be nice to have a nightstand on each side of the bed so each person can have a place to put a book, cell phone and/or glass. Also, it would be nice to have been able to turn off the light by the bed from the bed instead of having to get up to turn it off. -- We specifically were looking for a hotel that allowed dogs - your hotel was highly recommended on booking.com and fit our criterion.

Parker was really great. He made up for some other less-than-helpful staff members. -- When we checked in, the woman who gave us our keys (never got her name, but she had bangs) never told us that our room was in the east building. So we loaded everything from our car and went up the elevator to the 3rd floor unable to find our room. Come to find out we were in a completely building. Not a great way to start the trip. Also, I had thought I booked the romance package for the Saturday of our stay (because that was our wedding day) but it was there on the Friday when we arrived which was a little disappointing. Finally, we had brunch in the restaurant on Sunday morning and the woman who helped us was less than pleasant. Very abrupt and not very friendly. She had short curly dark hair. To be honest, we had stayed at Adrift several times a few years ago and loved it. Loved it to the point that we had all of our friends stay here for our wedding weekend. However, I was a little embarrassed after the interactions that some of us had.
