It was wonderful! It was a stop for us on the way home from a road trip. It was amazing to have the kids in 1 room and us in the other. The cottage is cute, modern, and provides a lot of amenities. -- I wish I knew her name!!! When we checked in we were having some trouble getting in with the app. She drove over to help us. It was great customer service

Cottages are well furnished. Staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Great adherence to Corona virus precautions. Very cozy and well priced. Location literally could not be better. Have not gotten in the car since we arrived days ago! The shower is even better than at home! Will recommend to friends and family. Fresh baked pastrys at 9 am delivered? Amazing.

Overall, the cottages were great and exactly what we expected. Personally, my wife and I rarely go anywhere alone, but it was our 25th wedding anniversary. We picked the cottages for our special celebration because of the idea that we could relax and enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the noise of the family staying next to us. We were in a cottage that was part of the same building structure and they were horribly loud and disrespectful. They parked their car in front of both doors (which I was not to disturbed by) and then about 8:00 pm, the children were yelling outside (which we have kids so we somewhat understood) but then they went into the cottage and were loud and running around up and down the stairs for hours. I went out to talk with them respectfully, but was never able to talk with an adult. We are not ones to complain, but it ruined out stay for sure. We ended up getting up early, and left as early as we could to salvage the anniversary trip. I know this isn't something you can control, we were just bummed since we never get away and this was our only experience for the one night we set up to get out of town alone.

The hot water heater wasn't working for a bit but after being reported it was fixed pronto. -- The morning pastries were a nice touch. We have been coming to Boardwalk Cottages for 20 years. Although our visit this time was satisfactory we feel the cottages have lost their charm. -- Dee at housekeeping
