It exceed my expectations for the price point. It's perfect for the Winthrop feel, tidy, great customer service, and they only charge $25 for both dogs. Not fancy, but a great place to lay your head.
Very sweet and cozy cabin feel. You are right next to the river bank and it is very relaxing. The manager is super welcoming and awesome! Note. wifi is slow. Seems to me if you're here you should not be spending a lot of time on your laptop, but just something to be aware of.
A/C unit was kinda busted, only really able to keep up after the sun started going down. The mattress was definitely on the older side, squeaky, and caused you to roll to the middle. All in all, it was a room and it was pretty clean, so not great, but not terrible either.
We have stayed here roughly 5 times now and we have been pleased with our stay every time. This time we rented online and thought it was a pet friendly room, but it was not. Needless to say it made things difficult and the Staff was so friendly and compassionate towards our predicament. He worked so hard to get us a new room that was Pet Friendly and he did it without hesitation and was so nice about about it too.... great customer service! Wouldn't stay anywhere else at this point to be honest!
Loved this place, nicely done rooms, great location and you feel like you're sleeping in old school western town housing. Could use more parking but that cognate distract from how neat it was.
