Got a code to check into our cabin around 1 pm, few hours ahead of official check in time, we didn't get in till 9 and they left the lights on for us at the cabin. Bedroom had one queen one single bed. Shower and bathroom were adequate. Large grassy field behind the cabins, tennis court, basketball court, pickle ball, and corn hole toss and a large grass area. we took patio chairs out on the tennis court to watch the stars. 8 min within walking distance to a local bar with food and a gas station, 7 min away drive from non crowded river trail. Beds are not Hilton grade but do the job. Kitchen with full stove and fridge. Has both heating and air conditioning. Definitely dated but clean. Will stay there again but the cabins are booked out. 15 min drive away from Winthrop.

I came with friends to stay a weekend in these quaint but comfortable cabins/motel rooms. There were plenty of insects inside my room, a significant downside, but the experience was mitigated by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff at Idle-A-While. My friends and I enjoyed our time relaxing at this location.

We booked a cabin online. When we arrived we were given a motel room, they said that the cabins were booked up 3 months ago and that the website 'messed up' and there was nothing they could do. They charged us the same price for the motel room (which is much cheaper online) and said there was nothing they could do. We had 3 guests and a dog. We booked a double queen cabin, they gave us a room with 1 queen bed and a pull out couch, again, for the same price as the cabin. When we called to ask for a room with 2 queens, which was what we PAID for they said everything was sold out and there was nothing they could do. They never offered to give us any money back, they did waive our pet fee (or so they claim, i still haven't seen the reimbursement for it) I would NOT recommend this place to anyone in the future. Looks nice, but their customer service is sub par at best.

Room was large and you could park right in front of your room. I didn't like the bed - woke up very itchy. The deluxe room had a full kitchen. There's nothing open if you're coming here late so be prepared to pack food beforehand. Recommend stopping at the bakery in Twisp in the morning.
