Dependable Roofing was awesome. They came in less than others we consulted for the same material. Their workmanship was excellent and they finished in a timely fashion. I can not recommend them highly enough. Jose and his crew were the best.

Great job, reasonable price, owner and crew are informed, courteous and clean.nnRoof replacement, strip existing composition and install new roofing, vent flashing's, gutters, downspouts, repair rot as needed.nnI give my highest recommendation to Dependable Roofing; good price, workmanship and the crew is very clean for such a dirty job. They tarped the garage on the inside so debris was well contained and cleaned up after themselves inside and outside more than once a day so no debris was left behind.nnI got four bids for my roof from a weekend roofer to the biggest company in the Tri-Valley area, Dependable came in right in the middle. I also looked up internet reviews on Yelp, Build Zoom and Better Business Bureau, here Dependable was at the top in all cases.nnJose came out and did the bid; he was very knowledgeable, not pushy and took a lot of time helping me choose between quality of the shingles and colors as well as the downspouts.nnThe job was scheduled for about 3 weeks in advance, a crew came by the first day to begin stripping and continued the next day, they took out a lot of rotted wood under the eves and replaced a few rafter tails, then they put down #30 felt as an underlayment and then installed GAF composite shingles, seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts and new roof vent pipe flashing's which they painted. I also had a ridge vent installed to help remove the hot air during the summer.nnAfter they completed the roof I took a good look around, no nails were protruding from under my eves, the replaced rotted wood was color matched to the paint of the house and the trim even so everything they replaced was freshly painted. The shingles line up as they should (no waviness) and as mentioned the yard was super clean.nnThe roof has a warranty and Dependable Roofing has their own warranty as well, they have been doing business here in the area for a long time so if something would come up I would feel comfortable contacting them in the future.nnGetting a roof is a big expense so I took a lot of time getting bids and reviewing information, I am very pleased with the workmanship, the product and the contractor as well as the crew. I believe you will be happy as well.nnNote 1) If you’re having your roof replaced, it is a dirty, messy job so you should reasonably expect to have to clean up some small amount residual materials, especially if you have a skip roof like mine, 1x6 slats. Expect to find a stray nail or two and some debris on garage ceiling joists; this is again normal for having construction work performed and not a negativennNote 2) I had my roof replaced in January of 2018, I waited until now July 2020 just to have the roof go through a couple Winter seasons of rain before writing this review to make sure everything was ok and it is.nnTL;DR Dependable Roofing did a great job on my roof replacement at a fair price, 5 stars. If you still aren't sure who to go with yet, go with Dependable Roofing and you won't be disappointed.

I can't say enough good about this company. The best prices, best service, they fix stuff and don't charge you for it, their workers are so neat and clean and polite, they are fast, they always do what they say they are going to do and the owner Jose is widely respected in the roofing industry as being one of the best, most ethical owners. You really owe it to yourself to get a quote from this company...you will not regret it. I'm a realtor and have referred them probably 15 times and they have done my own roof in Lafayette.

The name says it all. Very dependable owner and crew. Never came across a contractor like Jose, always there when you call and gets the job done. Dependable roofing installed tile roof on 4000 sqft custom home and when they left, it was spotless. Thank you Jose. You made it easy for us!

An Outstanding company that does an Outstanding job. Excellent workmanship, very conscientious, fabulous daily cleanup all with reasonable pricing. Jose is an honest man doing honest work for an honest days pay. If you don't at least get a bid from Jose, you will be sorry.
