Chad (the owner) and his team, especially Jose and Matthew, are terrific. I bought a Trek road bike for my wife and they were awesome about getting it properly fitted for her (at no charge) so she’d be comfortable and happy. They also offer free tuneups for life on bikes purchased from them. Every time we’ve needed something, they’ve been super accommodating. I would highly recommend this business. They care about their customers, provide a high level of personal service and offer fair prices on bikes, parts and accessories. They are also extremely conscientious about operating safely during the pandemic. All in all, a great bike shop that we’re glad to have in the neighborhood.

Matthew was awesome in helping me pick my next bike. Communicative, thorough, and responsive... would buy from you guys again. Also, they take COVID seriously and have figured out good solutions to test bikes and get upgrades.

Just purchased a women's mountain bike here and the entire experience was fantastic! Chad provided great consultation in selecting the correct size and model. Alex fitted the bike perfectly after I purchased. Best part is if you purchase a bike from Rhythm you get unlimited FREE tune ups. This is a huge bonus. Tune ups generally run $100+ and mountain bikes take a beating on the trails, so free tune-ups is definitely what persuaded me to purchase a new bike vs used.

Your staff was so very helpful and nice. I am not a cyclist. I needed a bike to do family rides. I went to another local bike shop and the person was not very helpful, just told me they didn't have the bike I was looking for. I called bike shops in Berkeley and Alameda and the people on the phone were short and rude in telling me they didn't sell the bike I was looking for. Not one person took the time to ask me why I wanted the bike and the type of riding I would be doing, except for the folks in your shop. Your shop didn't have the bike i was looking for but the sales person helped me understand why and what my alternatives were. I left with a new bike in 15 minutes with the accessories I needed and feeling great. I was able to ride with my family the next day! THANK YOU!

The whole team at Rhythm Bikes is awesome. From tuning up my bike that was on hooks in the garage for last 4 years to finding the right bike for my wife to fitting helmets and gear for my little guys, the crew at Rhythm did it with care and patience. They stayed late for the big stuff and squeezed us in for the little items. Much appreciated. We are very glad to have them in the neighborhood and will definitely be back.
