A few weeks back was my first time walking into Cycle City after a friend of mine had recommended this shop. I was shopping for a new road bike for commuting purposes and wanted to learn more about the different options. Well, I cannot overstate how incredibly pleased I was with my first visit to Cycle City.nnDavid is an employee of Cycle City that has a genuine passion for biking of all sorts. He spent over an hour explaining different bike styles and answering questions (and I had plenty). Not once did he seem annoyed or that he had something better to be doing.nnThe other two employees I've interacted with since making my first TREK Checkpoint SL5 purchase have been nothing short of solid. Heck, there's even a 17 year old kid in there that upholds the stellar reputation of this shop.nnIt is very apparent that this bike shop is the gold standard in the East Bay. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anybody. It's simply that good.

I love cycle city. You are all awesome, very knowledgeable, and not pushy when it comes to making a sale. Overall, I always feel very comfortable and satisfied in terms of customer service, when I leave cycle city. I love my bike and how well you all take care of it!

The folks here were hella helpful, honest, and friendly. They were very good on keeping me updated with all that was needed to be done with my bike...it has been a long minute since I've biked. I recently broke my ankle, and the folks at Cycle City were great with holding onto my bike a few extra days until I could have a friend pick up my bike for me. Most definitely will come back for all my bike needs. Thank you Cycle City!

Quick, efficient, reasonably-priced, pleasant service on what I thought would be a more extensive repair. They thought otherwise, and they were right! First time there... won’t be my last!
