Extended Stay America - Washington D.C. - Chantilly - Dulles South

I stayed at this hotel in 2017 and then again approximately 1 month ago. The hotel was clean enough, maintained enough, but what set this hotel out from others was the extended effort they went through, despite being 95% booked at the time I checked in during 2017, to give me a room despite my being ill prepared to reserve a room. I had lost my wallet and had to wait until Monday morning to get to Wells Fargo to get a temporary Card. The manager took a chance - I was given my room, and no money was required. (normal for a hotel, provided you have a card they can put a charge against (5.00 USD) to ensure it works). Which as I explained - I didn't. Then in 2020, I stayed for one night to prevent myself from driving 3 hours needlessly. The staff once again ensured I had everything I needed. To make matters worse, I was able to recover my hotel receipts from 2017 for a Tax amendment in 2020... This hotel is Great!

The bathroom fan made a horrible noise, the room looked dusty, the floor was weirdly squeaky, the kitchen was not stocked and the sink had dried grease stuck in it. No dishwasher, coffee pot, or toaster. The women who took my reservation was rude and booked the wrong hotel. Will not be coming back

We shifted to Virginia and still in the process of finding our home so presently we are staying in this extended stay . We often think why should a five star rating be given , did they do something out of the box , yes they did for me . Firstly when my family joined me in Virginia they gave me a much bigger family suite kind of room , in the same price , I indeed liked this. Second today I had a important personal work for which I needed a separate room for four hours , without a single word they opened a separate room for me with no cost . Indeed the front desk guys Sulaman , Hani and a fat sweet lady sorry I do not know her name these folks and obviously others they are real good people .

Just somewhere to sleep for the night. I saw the reviews online and said to myself “it won’t be that bad”. Saw a roach under the sink and well that prompted me to write this review.....Bring slippers for the shower and to wear around. Like I said, if you just need somewhere to sleep just for ONE night this is fine I suppose. Won’t be staying here again and I wish management would stop responding on these concerns and attempt to do something about the place. I don’t know who needs to get involved to at least make sure this place is clean, but it needs to happen asap.

Service and amenities were nice. Room was comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Really enjoyable place to stay.
