Had a great experience checking in then I realized my shoes has been taken. I was basically told no need to call again because we don’t have them. Definitely feeling like they don’t care about customer’s belongings. Don’t bring your valuables.... you’ll go to dinner and never see them again.
The hotel does indeed have a European feel. The rooms are smaller and cozy, small bathroom with a standup shower only and no tub. Pretty well done. However (at least in my room) the hvac unit pointed right at the bed, and turned on every 20 minutes or so blowing what was supposed to be warm air right at me all night. I didn’t sleep well until I turned it off but then woke up to a cold room.nnGood location relative to Department of State, Georgetown, Marine Memorial, and the Roslyn Metro.
Great hospitality and comfortable beds
There was a hidden fee for parking of $30 daily which wasn't disclosed until we checked in, yes we were very surprised, who charges customers for parking in a decent hotel? We will never return for that fact alone and it was a regular parking lot with several levels shared with another hotel.nEmployees were super nice and friendly.
