Residence Inn by Marriott Lexington South/Hamburg Place

Our stay here was fantastic!! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was super clean and the beds were comfortable. We were very happy with our visit. Thank you!!

Everything is clean but I don't like how they do the breakfast situation. You have to have a ticket to get breakfast. I don't understand the reason why they do this but it's inconvenient when you check out and you want to grab something quick when you previously thought you would be gone before it started. The staff is very nice about everything. They even give you a list of local restaurants to order from as they don't have a onsite restaurant

Excellent guest service at the front desk, clean and updated room, plus pet friendly for a really great price. I'd highly recommend anyone stay here. They are taking excellent precautions for covid19 without taking away things like the free breakfast.

I really liked this hotel overall but I do have 2 improvements worth bringing up. The room we stayed in had a kitchen and living room area combined with a separate bedroom. The AC was way colder (10 to 15 degrees colder) in the bedroom than the living room. If you don't have kids sleeping on the sofa bed it won't be an issue as you can just turn down the AC to a higher temp (thermostat is in the living room). Only other issue was that the shower didn't drain fast enough which leads to u standing in about 2 inches of water while u shower. Other than that everything else was really good...5 star for sure. The front desk staff was absolutely fantastic. Extremely professional, polite and helpful. Breakfast is hot and served in to go boxes. We had sausage, eggs, croissants and muffins. Not much to choose from but with Covid-19 u can't expect much.

I travel a lot and stay at a lot of hotels. Marriott is a first rate hotel chain, and the Marriot Lexington was no disappointment. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The employees were all professional, courteous, and efficient. If I had to say one negative thing about this particular hotel, I would be left speechless, because I can't think of a single thing. Next time I'm in Charlotte, I'll be staying at this hotel again.
