Columbia Hotel

Great place. The ambiance was homely and had a few antique pieces that provided perspective. Definitely loved the art work and the homage to Shakespeare. It was definitely one of the better hotel experiences in memory. Thank you Columbia Hotel staff!

Had a great stay. The building is pretty neat, very old with minimal amenities, but that is the charm. You get to skip the TV for a view of main street and be in walking distance too all the good stuff in Ashland.nThe people were helpful and nice, showers and rooms were clean, overall great stay.nYou can book on AirBNB or on their website directly.

Very beautiful decor, no bathroom, tv, refrigerator, microwave, most rooms don't have AC. Night manager nice guy. Walls very thin, not a good place for children. No tea or coffee in common area, no food of any kind, will not let you use refrigerator in staff break room. No amenities at all. Children not tolerated. Nice downtown location, no disabled entrance. No swimming pool, hot tub, or sauna. View from rooms facing street nice. Comfortable beds. Plenty of drawer space, small closet, sink in room. Good for sleeping, reading, e.t.c. of you're by yourself. If you're with anybody, you could be accused of disturbing others by talking, the walls are that thin.

The staff was lovely, they gave me a great room last minute and the prices are wonderful. There's coffee right next door and convenient walk on main road in town for everything you need. Because of covid unfortunately they can't serve coffee or breakfast but all that's located close by. My room was sparkling clean and cozy, plenty of towels and I loved it there! I'd stay there again.
