Hampton Inn Medford

Good location, Costco gas 8 miles away, very nice hardworking staff. Did not recognize elite diamond nor retired veteran level good breakfast. Safe walking outside.good computer area. No one looking over my shoulder.room clean and has a foot rest.

The hotel was fine, there is some residential area right behind it and other businesses around it. It was an easy walk to restaurants. People were OK, maybe just having a bad day, not overly friendly. I'm not sure how old the hotel is, but it looks like there has been some updating.

Regardless of whether the pet fee was listed, it is just absurd to charge that much! If you don't want pets, don't allow them. $150.00 is probably more than the cost for humans! For that much of a pet fee you would think there would be at least a gated area for them to run in. The bathroom area was a small patch of grass next to a busy street. We used points for our stay and needed that location or else I would not have stayed there. Next time I'll avoid this hotel. Besides the pet fee, the hotel looked run down compared to the other Hilton hotels we've been to. We left after 6:00 am but not only was there no breakfast, coffee wasn't ready. Those are minor issues but all these things add up. I never write bad reviews, only good ones. This place is an exception.

If you are familiar with the Hampton Inn experience drive to Grant's Pass (35 min away). This will location will tarnish your thoughts of the hotel chain as a whole and leave you wondering why you paid so much for an old run down building and staff unwilling to help.

Morgan, at the front desk, was exceptionally kind and helpful. Salt of the Earth human doing salt of the Earth things. I really appreciated all of the staff, I appreciate they are working through this pandemic, and I hope the powers that be take care of them through this. :)
