Friendly guy in the office. Decent price for a decent place to sleep. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

When I called about reserving a room, the man in the phone was so nice and polite! I told him we were driving from quite a distance and would be in late. He was there waiting for us when we got in, still very kind, he even turned a fan on in our room before we arrived! It may not look like much, but the room was so clean, beds were comfortable, and the price was great! Would definitely stay again!

Beds were comfy, old school but welcoming and the owner was very nice. We had just had a long and tiring drive and he was so hospitable. No restaraunts were open so he let us use our propane stove to cook something up ( not under the awning and away from the building.) Brought back many memories when a child traveling across the states on vacation. Need more placesnlike this that add that special warmth.

For anyone thinking of staying here you need to know, this place has NO AIR CONDITIONING. Had I known this before we booked our stay we would have stayed somewhere else. There are only 3 power outlets in the entire room, one in the bathroom and 2 on each side of the dresser. If you need to have your phone plugged in and near you while you sleep you are out of luck. Also there is no complimentary shampoo so you better bring some with you. These are smoking rooms so if you are allergic you should definitely avoid. That being said, the rooms were clean and in good shape. The was wifi, a fridge, microwave, and flat screen TV. The bed was also quite comfy. As a person who spends more time in hotel rooms than I do in my own home I was disappointed that this place didn't have the bear hotel essentials. I feel like with a few minor renovations this place could be good but at the time of writing this I would not recommend.
