I booked the adjacent Roadside Inn, but my booking was transferred next door this Quality Inn because the Roadside isn't open during winter months. From the looks of it I ended up staying in a nicer updated hotel for the price of the Roadway Inn. The rooms are clean & the bed comfortable. I'm just here too sleep so my personal expectations weren't very high, but I wouldn't hesitate staying here with my family.
No problems at all. Good breakfast. Quiet hotel. Spacious rooms. Great view of Idaho falls. When we arrived it was after 11 pm and I was exhausted. Nate at the front desk made check in fast and easy and even gave us extra blankets because my kids were cold. We'll be back as long as Nathan is there.
Ok, so this place IS nice: it's clean, the receptionist was super friendly, and the breakfast was good. It's older though, which shows. However, because it's older, the rooms are quite spacious. I would definitely better than a standard hotel chain (It's a chain now, but this building used to be the red lion inn).
I'm giving this experience 5 stars, not because the hotel was fabulous, but because the history and ambience is! It is a clean, comfortable room,and the staff, Savanah, Danni, and Shannon made us feel like family that they were so glad see! This was our first stay with them,but won't be our last. I'm looking forward to seeing this classic hotel in it's glory!
The lady at the front counter is so nice and friendly. Excellent customer service. Definitely making our stay a pleasant one.
