Antlers Inn

I made a reservation at the Antlers Inn about a week in advance. The reason I chose this place was because it had an outdoor pool. We drove three hours on a motorcycle to get there, and to our disappointment, the pool was empty and completely out of commission, and the motel was completely empty of guests. Nowhere on the website did it say that the pool was out of order. There really is no other reason to stay there. I walked into the lobby to cancel my reservation. You would think that since they had no guests and I had made a reservation in advance, they would have been expecting us sometime that day. The guy at the desk (who never respectfully put on a mask) didn’t even know about the reservation. I told him how the website didn’t say anything about the pool, and he laughed at me, and laughed that I was talking about the website, and in so many words said that the website was not representative of the place. I asked to cancel, and he said he couldn’t do cancellations. I said that this was not what was sold to me, and we were going to find somewhere else. He wrote a number down on a piece of paper and told me to call that number. I was confused, and said that I am physically here, why can’t we take care of this here? He said I had to call that number, and even if I cancelled I’d probably still be charged. So I called “Raj” and it went straight to voicemail. I left a message explaining the situation and asked to please cancel my reservation. I don’t think anyone ever listens to that voicemail. After a long ride on the motorcycle, this was a stress we did not need. “Raj” never called me back and my account was later charged. This is a dishonest business.

AMAZING hospitality and customer service ☺ufe0f When we first got our room there were a few small issues/concerns. We alerted the front desk and he IMMEDIATELY took care of us. When he couldn't fix the issues/concerns in the current room, he gave us a new room right away and everything was perfect ud83dude01 The maintenance worker, front desk/manager, and housekeeping have all been so incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. This has truly been the best accomodation experience we have ever had in Vernal, and we will definitely be back to stay at the Antlers Inn!

Extremely disappointed. I wish I would’ve read the previous reviews about the rooms being dirty because they were very true. There was hair in both sinks, in bathtub, on toilet, and in bedsheets and pillowcases. Not to mention hair shavings on the floor next to the bathtub... No surfaces were clean - crumbs, dust, grime on all surfaces. Definitely was not vacuumed either - food and pieces of trash on floor. Brown stains on shower curtain. Food crumbs in fridge and in microwave. Toothpaste splatter on mirrors. Urine splatter on toilet seat. I normally don’t leave reviews but this place was so dirty I had to - do yourself a favor and pay a little extra to stay somewhere else.

This place is perfect! We loved it.nnWe weren’t quite sure what to expect when we pulled up, but it was fantastic. The room has so much personality and comfort. The hotel is obviously older but it more than makes up for it in how well it’s maintained. The room felt hand crafted to make the guest happy. Like someone and specifically picked all the decor for it with cozy comfort in mind. All the little details were incredible, right down to the toiletries, which were 10x better than anything anywhere else. I felt like I was visiting my favorite family members.nnSince staying at Antlers in, I’ve stayed at the typical chain hotels and I’m even less impressed with them and the impersonal feeling they have than before.nnI’d recommend Antlers Inn to anyone staying in Vernal. You will not be disappointed.

For the price, it is as expected. It smelled like cleaner had been sprayed inside. A variety of hairs were in the bathroom. Shower curtain was old and discolored. Towels were frayed. The heating air cover panel had fallen off and it was very dusty but I was able to put it back. The carpet was also discolored and old.nService was fine and the bed was comfortable enough.
