Extended Stay America - Albuquerque - Rio Rancho

This hotel is a lie! The website and reviews all made it seem nice and we didn’t have high expectations. But from immediate rude staff and the stealing of our property with in our room.(which they’re aware of). Not only this but all staff seems to disregard customers and seem like they have better things to do. Horrible stay never again. We got charged for food and internet which neither was ever presented. Go there prepared to make your coffee with mold as that’s how they come prepared for you.

I just checked in today and I am already ready leave. Outside of the non smoking room smelling like smoke, The bathroom fan doesn’t work, the recliner is busted, the bathroom door doesn’t shut and the dishes I received were dusty! At least the front desk people were nice.

The room was clean but there was almost no one staying here , there were about 5 or 6 other cars outside, and they put my room RIGHT next to people who were up all night loudly talking and were continuous coming in and out of their room. Then come 6 am started blasting their music. They really should put people in every other room if possible if their walls are this thin because I was hoping for good sleep and that’s not what I got by staying here. Also, their breakfast was literally a sack lunch bag that only contained ONE cheese danish, nothing else was in the bag.

I simply wanted a good night's sleep after driving for 16 hours. This proved impossible due to paper thin walls, noisy neighbors and drunks wandering the halls shouting, knocking on random doors and carrying on loudly throughout the night. I don't have any suggestions of a place you can stay that doesn't have these problems as I have experienced the same at numerous hotels throughout Albuquerque.

Great price, spacious room. Carpet may need to be shampooed and tub and a ring around it. Needs to be scub. Front desk is super nice and friendly
