Wonderful place. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Gorgeous surroundings. Lovely pond out front, attracts birds. Our only complaint is the kitchen was very minimally equipped. We brought food with us to cook and make lunches for our day in Chaco. No salt, no plastic wrap or bags, no dish soap. If you plan on cooking bring everything!nOtherwise perfect.

We stayed in the house and it was a really comfortable and in a beautiful location. It's really spacious. Denny was super friendly and breakfast was both filling and tasty.

I decided to stay here since it's location is fairly close to Chaco canyon (about 1 hour away). The place was great. Super comfy and spacious bed. It has all the amenities necessary for a great stay. It comes with a complementary breakfast, but you can also order lunch and dinner. The food is delicious and authentic. Denny was personable and had a bunch of suggestions for things to do in the area. The star gazing was mind blowing. I've never seen so many stars. This is a must see area.

Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about booking here. But other positive reviews let me to give it a try. It's about 5 minutes in a secluded area just outside of town. My wife was afraid to go outside alone. The looks of some of the properties on the way in looked abandoned or junkie. The room was clean but needs updating. Paint pealing of the walls, broken shower handle and the shower pan was in need of repair.nThe owners own a gas station in town. As far as bed and breakfast, you have to have your breakfast at the gas station. Really?nThe place is a small cabin with a separate one bedroom attached to the side.nWe booked the house then the owners called and said another party wanted the house on the second night of our three night stay. We said ok. Rather then pack and unpack we decided to just stay in the single bedroom on the side of the house. Well the day we left we were told that there would be no credit for staying in the small studio instead of the house and we could have stayed in the house the first and third night. Really? Nothing, no consideration for giving up the larger home so he book another party. Well that's life, no wonder he only works over the phone and not email. No records?

If you want a clean quiet and out of the way place to relax, this is it! The sky was so dark that we saw millions of stars and saw the milky way from horizon to horizon. So quiet we could hear the leaves rustling. Sit on the huge front porch and watch the stars come out, and watch the elk as they come out to feed the next morning. Don't worry about the 2 mile drive to the unassuming restaurant and gas station for breakfast ..the huevos rancheros were the best we've ever had. Made -in-house red and green chile sauces are amazing.Although it is casual, it's a terrific trade off compared a fancy, but not tasty breakfast we've had at other B&Bs. It was also fun to hang out with the locals as they kept a busy stream at the best breakfast in town.
