Our stay was disappointing and our expectations are not high. Our room was detached from the house, above a garage with an open office in it. It was not particularly clean, we fought moths all night after being told there would be none like the main house had, stale coffee, curdled cream and though it isn't their fault there was a rain storm that night clearly there has been no effort to improve drainage. According to an employee flooding is common. We had to straddle a row of bricks to get in. At our insistence we were allowed to exit and enter through the front door of the house as there was no other way due to flooding but were not made to feel welcome at all. One of the employees couphed in our faces and was not wearing a mask. When we asked for another room they told us they were sold out. There were no other cars or people there other thank employees. I have seen good reviews for this home in 2018 but clearly there have been changes since then. I know it is hard for businesses like this to perform well with this Covid Virus but our other stays during this trip went well and staff at those places were considerate, wore masks and presented clean rooms and fresh coffee and cream. We are scared right now and worried for our health.

I booked this venue for my wedding based on the website pictures and close proximity to my elderly father. The Inn was more beautiful than I had hoped! Alison and Mary were attentive and helpful. The breakfast was delicious each morning. The gardens made the perfect setting for our big day!nnud83dudc95❤ufe0fud83eudd70

Just had my wedding here absolutely stunning! Allison was amazing she helped everyone stay in schedule and made time to check on the bride. The venue was perfect. Thank you for everything

I picked this lovely B&B to stay the night so my best friend and I could attend our high school reunion. We stayed in what was a garage before, but it felt like a small apartment; it had plenty of room and had a kitchen. It was quaint and decorated so cleverly. I enjoyed the amount of love and work which went into this home, as well as all of the quirky items bought and used to decorate. Best of all, the breakfast was upscale and delicious. The hosts were gracious and attentive. I would recommend this delightful B&B.

Fantastic place to get away for the weekend!!!nMary and Allison were very welcoming and created an amazing stay. Breakfast was delicious and the pictures don't do The Rusted Poppy justice because the amenities and grounds are one of a kind!
