Motel 6 Pueblo, CO - I-25

The staff was very nice and I like that you had on site security. I appreciate the lady that checked us in calling to see if everything was satisfactory. I did share my issues with the cleanliness of the shower, smell and heat at that time. Unfortunately there weren't any other rooms available for us to move to. Someone also called later that night to let us know that our car door was open and for that we are sincerely grateful!nThe hotel has been cleaned up a lot compared to what it used to be and I appreciate that. That goes a long way when it comes to your old reputation.nThe beds were a bit firm yet comfortable and you didn't have bedbugs, which I know is a common issue at hotels in Pueblo.nSome of the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. Shower floor was dirty, and had cigarette burns in it, room reeked of cigarette smoke, the other guests were loud and made our stay uncomfortable and the heater kept running even though it was turned off, so room was hot. We could not sleep with the window cracked because of the noise.nDue to these issues we chose to leave a day early. The lady that checked me out in the morning refunded the day i was not going to stay.nTo be honest, I'm really not even upset about the issues, it happens sometimes. Your staff did such a great job handling everything from the time we checked in until the time we left, you are very lucky to have them

Never ever stay at this property! Save your money and go somewhere else. Please stay away. When I was checking in Tiffany (sweet lady) told me there was no TV in the room. That should have been enough for me to walk away but I don't watch TV much so it didn't bother me. Once I started to park I noticed that the majority of the hotel was packed with local residents versus people who are on vacation. No problem here but the people looked suspicious and not trust worthy. I started to feel unsafe and hoped my car wouldn't get robbed. I checked the room and it looked fairly okay but it was quite warm and it smelled like cigarette smoke although I asked for a non smoking room. I decided to take my belongings down from my car hoping the room would be cool by the time I got finished. Since there was no improvement I called the office to inform them of the cigarette smell (which I was still willing to deal with) and the AC not working. Her response was first come first serve and that I booked late and got the last pick lol. Her response to the AC was for me to turn off the AC and open a window. I did not feel safe doing that at the property and if I'm paying for a room I expect the basic essentials to work. I asked for a refund and she said because I had been there longer than 15 minutes I couldn't anymore although it had just been 20 minutes and I was barely even in the room. I basically had to fight for my refund and although they granted it I still have not received it. It's been 3 days and still nothing. Please don't go here you will regret it!

It was horrible it's no AC and my daughter walked in the room and stepped on a needle

It was a nice place. The staff here were very nice. The rooms were clean as well as the property. I would stay here again.
