Delightful and charming! Beautiful artwork and decor everywhere. They have several rooms to hang out in, easily romantic or relaxing. Their staff was extremely welcoming and proactive in enhancing our stay. They built a fire just for us to enjoy some complementary tea and treats. The place is well kept, clean, and decorated for the holidays. Breakfast was amazing, many delicious options, fresh fruit, including grapefruit, scones, bread pudding, waffles, and fancy eggs, all prepared by a knowledgeable chef.
I couldn’t even wait until we actually checkout to write this review. William and the rest of the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Everyone makes you feel so welcome. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms spotless. The food is phenomenal. I cannot say enough about this B&B! We will definitely be returning!
From the moment we walked into this gorgeous sea merchants home we felt relaxed & we welcomed with a warm greeting from Will. Room was spotless. Breakfast was amazing each am. Tasty homemade treats later in the day! You won’t be disappointed in this beautiful B&B
From check in till checkout the entire experience at the Francis Malbone Inn was FANTASTIC!!! The service was the absolute best I have ever experienced. From Mary Ellen to Kevin to Maria to the owner Will you couldn't have asked for a more attentive staff. The breakfast and tea time were perfect. A chef prepared breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, and assorted breads. If you want an intimate inn in Newport within walking distance to the wharf, shops, and restaurants this is the place to stay.
