Great place, room was amazing! Location was perfect right in the center of everything! Hotel staff was great! Especially the women at the front desk in the daytime! My 2 year old loved her and she was awesome with him, he looked for her every time we went in or out! I cant wait to go back in the summertime! Would definitely recommend this place!
So far the best place to stay in downtown Newport.. very comfortable and they make you feel at home while away from home..
Great location, near many restaurants and shopping. Comfy, with friendly staff.
It's not going to win any design awards aren't and it's not going to make your think like you're loving in the lap of luxury, but our family has learned that hotel location is far more important than amenities. Inside you'll find outdated and bare hallways, but the rooms are comfortable and serve as a good place to rest your head between trips to the beach, vineyards, etc. Staff is extremely gregarious, a parking spot is included, and you are steps from excellent bars and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.
We loved our stay at Newport Bay Club and Hotel. We stayed in one of the town house suites, which had great views of town and the bay from the two balconies. The living space was great, and the kitchenette was fully stocked. Kudos to the Keurig with coffee and tea provided. We didn’t realize how great the location was but we loved walking to shops, breakfast, and dinner. Also free in and out parking, which was great!! Only negatives would be thin walls, and we got the very last parking spot when we checked in at 10 (I’m not sure if they have over flow parking)
