My experience with Cleveland Roofing began when the water spots have accumulated at the ceiling of my front door entrance which was later identified as an ice build-up damage from an internal heat escaping which accumulated under the roof, especially at the ridge area. The water damage inside my house was minor but visible enough where I knew I needed to address this issue sooner than later.nMy co-worker highly recommended Cleveland Roofing to take a look at my roofing issue and assured me that the owner Roman will make it right at affordable cost without compromising the product, quality or service. I figured, why not, with free estimates, I have nothing to lose. Reached out to Cleveland Roofing and took the necessary steps of explaining my situation with hints of recommendation though a previous customer of his in hopes of receiving a lower price.nRoman came out the next day (with another worker), we met, I showed him internal water damage spots which he quickly checked out and then asked if I was granting him a permission to climb on the roof to evaluate an issue further. About half an hour later, he broke down exactly what the issue was, followed by what caused it and proposed a quick fix/patching solution at lower cost, but recommend doing it right by replacing patio roof for the longevity. He also mentioned that there were multiply visible hail damage spots throughout the roof that will eventually fail and the roof will need to be replaced. I didn’t believe him (thinking it’s just another sales pitch) and asked if he can actually show me the damages which he did. So to be clear, when I heard “hail damage” I expected to see actual major holes or indentations in the roof but I was completely surprised to find nothing but barely visible scrapes or nicks on the shingle that I’d never even know to look for.nLong story short, I thought Roman was trying to pull a sales trick on me, however he continued by offering to have an insurance adjuster to come and evaluate hail damages that could result in a free roof. Yes, you heard it right, “FREE ROOF”…, Well nothing is free but the thought of possibly getting an entire roof replaced though an insurance claim (if approved) sounded very appealing to me. Roman also said that his team of experts will work with insurance adjuster from start to finish with little engagment on my part. Without much thought, but much skepticism, I’ve decided to proceed with the hail damage insurance claim.nIt took about 2-3 weeks before an insurance adjuster came out with Roman and confirmed that there was significant evidence of hail damage on the roof and continued with a report of hail damage on the west side of my siding (who knew)… I never even considered replacing my siding but after showing me clear evidence of hail indents on my metal siding, I figured, might as well replace that too. What I didn’t know is that insurance was only going to cover one side of the siding (west side) which didn’t make any sense as I couldn’t find a matching metal siding from 20+ years past. After going through the numbers with Roman of how much “out of pocket” was going to cost me to have the other three sides of siding replaced, I’ve decided to go ahead and get a new roof, gutters and siding. Forward to present, New Roof, New Siding, very little out of pocket cost results in a Super Happy Satisfied Customer for life!nWith all that said, I can’t thank Cleveland Roofing team enough with everything they have done for me. Roman and his team are amazing. We have an essentially flat roof that was leaking. He was able to come out at the end of a snowstorm nonetheless to give us a bid. As soon as we had a break in the weather, they arrived and hit the ground running. He was very familiar with this type of roof and knew exactly what needed to be done. They went above and beyond what was expected. Will definitely use Cleveland Roofing in the future.
