Room was less than clean, someone’s beard trimmings were left on the bathroom floor (yuck). Cleaning supplies left on the window sill when I got into the room. The comforter while comfy had stains on it, and the fitted sheet had multiple holes in it. The room was definitely dated, paint stains on the carpet, and a ceiling tile in the closet fell out in the middle of the night and gave me quite a fright. Overall I was quite disappointed in my stay at the Renaissance and would not recommend this hotel.
I booked this hotel at the last minute.. I'm not familiar with the cleveland area and I wasn't sure where parking was or anything... the security officer in the hotel was very helpful, nice and informative. Staff was very friendly in general. Hotel was clean and very nice for the price paid. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the Cleveland area!
I was charged $30 even though I didn't utilize their parking. I paid the $16 overnight fee for the lot I stayed in under the Tower City Mall. When I called to explain the mistake, I was told I would be refunded in a few days, but I never was. I've tried to call again to get the refund but can't reach a human in Billing. I've left several messages with no return call. It's a shame because the room was great, but it really bummed me out to lose $30 for no reason, so I won't be back.
A little dated. The Old Style Design makes for an interesting atmosphere.nVery good location to all downtown sites.
Great hotel. Clean and safe health protocols in place. Parking is a challenge listen carefully to the instructions at check in. We had a great nights sleep and would definitely stay here again!
