Ken Childers Roofing & Siding

Update: No longer 5 stars: Everything I said below is true. However, the challenge always comes in the follow up - when something needs to be re-done or looked at. We had a couple areas of our roof where the tiles were not sticking. We called Mr. Childers after a week to have him take a look at the area. He has not called us back. At this point, its been 3 mos. No Call back. We are equally disappointed about this, as we were excited about his initial work.nI was given a referral to Mr. Childers by a former neighbor. She and her husband raved about the quality and excellent pricing from Childers Roofing. After having priced several other vendors, two things struck me.n1. Ken Childers' responsiveness and 2. product knowledge. Fast forward...We went with Childers' roofing and our huge roof has been completed. This is the first day of completion, so the jury is out as to how the roof performs under hard rain, wind storms, etc., but the roof looks wonderful. His crew worked non-stop. Never disappearing for hours or days. Ken was with his crew the entire time, checking for quality and alerting us to potential issues. They worked hard and cleaned up quickly, putting everything back where they found it. One gentleman asked where I wanted my landscaping solar lights replaced. I was pleased with the level of customer service he provided. I am glad i went with my neighbor's recommendation and hope this helps someone else make a decision. I'm a tough customer and I am thoroughly pleased.
