Belinda makes you feel at home! This beautiful old gristmill is so warm and inviting and stunningly decorated with a fascinating history with the Underground Railroad. You feel like you've stepped into the past (with indoor plumbing, that is)!nnBelinda, the owner, is one of the nicest, most welcoming people. So fun got talk to!! She gave my wife and I a tour of the house when we checked in, and oh my goodness, was her breakfast good!! Very accommodating to allergens, Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten free needs as well.nnLGBT friendly, beautiful landscape, nice restaurants nearby, lots of activities going on in the summer months, definitely worth the visit to Sodus! We can't wait to go back!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here this past weekend for a night and really loved it. The cobblestone house was very charming and no detail has been left unnoticed. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We walked down to the creek and saw a plethora of birds, old apple trees. We stayed in the Gaylord Suite, which was beautiful. We had a great view of the property, the creek, and Lake Ontario. The room was incredibly spacious, well kept, and very relaxing.nnBelinda was very warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. She was very accommodating for anything we needed. And we had a fabulous breakfast of orange blossom french toast. We truly felt taken care of the entire time.nnI would recommend to anyone stopping on their way through the area or staying in the area for vacation to stay at Maxwell Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast.

A beautiful place with nice proximity to the cute town of Sodus Point. I didn't realize until we arrived that they believe it was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Being able to stay in a place with that kind of history is special. And Belinda couldn't be nicer! Lovely person and a lovely place.
