Good rooms

I love old motor inns like this! Well maintained and clean as a whistle! Very homey! All ground floor, big old school windows that work. Paid $65 plus tax. Fridge and microwave! The desk is in a large closet.

Nice owners rooms are clean.

This is a small town with a very limited number of options for room rentals, and even though this motel is rough around the edges, thinking positively it has a few reasonable qualities.nn- The owners are very polite, but they raised the price a little between the time when the room was reserved and when I arrived.n- The room itself had a fair amount of space with a king bed, table and chairs, and a full bathroom, but the sheets had holes in them, and the towels had a few orange stains.n- I had AC and hot water, but the AC was either very cold, or muggy warm (although, the temperature outside was abnormally high at 90 F).n- The room has a flatscreen TV with a cable box, but I needed to reset the cable box in order for it to work correctly (also the remote didn't work with the cable box).n- The closet / office space was very large, and I was provided a coffee machine, but the packet of complementary coffee was already torn open.n- The shower has warm water, but there was a small hole in the bottom of the bathtub, and part of the bathroom ceiling drywall was missing.n- The room came with a microwave and refrigerator, but they were sitting on the floor, not a big deal, just inconvenient.n- They did provide service to the room between my first and second night's stay, but I'm not sure if much was done to the room besides replacing the used with fresh towels. Being that the sheets my first night had holes, I was able to tell the same holes were present after service.n- The area is actually very quiet, so you can get good rest. Plus there are several small shops nearby.nnOverall, it could use an update, and was overpriced at $80 a night. I'm sure the owners would work with you though if you have any complaints
