Great motel. Clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to anywhere in the Village of Clayton.

I was looking for an old part for my boat that I had been having a hard time finding. I spoke to Chrissy and she was able to locate, order and I bought the part. Very satisfied.

The ramp is HORRIBLE. There is no parking ANYWHERE, and yet the attendant will rush you to get your boat out of the way, even though you have nowhere to park. Launching a Sailboat? You’re a second class citizen, and you better get that POS out of the dock. How dare you sit there for even 5 minutes while you park your car? They don’t care that you have to park a mile away (literally). I’d feel more welcome at a marina with a big “F-you” sign out front.nnThey also charge you both to launch AND retrieve. Where that money is going, I’m not sure, seeing as it sure as hell isnt going towards dock maintenance, ramp maintenance or parking. It must be going towards the attendant’s wages, and that’s about it.nnNot to mention, you will get ticketed for overnight parking on the street, anywhere in the entire town. Apparently that’s one of their primary sources of income in this town, seeing as they haven’t seen fit to designate parking for any trailers, overnight boaters or out of town folks launching a boat and renting a cabin.

The room was clean and in very good condition. We enjoyed our brief stay there very much.

We were at the docks for fireworks. Their docks are well kept and maintained.
