The Fairlawn Inn

We stayed over the weekend at Fairlawn and it was an amazing experience. The location is unbeatable with only two mins to the slope and close to many bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. The breakfast was simply delicious, remember to order the scrambled egg! A lot of free snacks up for grabs. Sandy and Ming were super welcoming and made us felt at home. The house was really well decorated and I felt I was walking in history. I'm planning on coming back in the summer to do some hiking as this location is also close to many famous trails and waterfalls. Definitely recommended!

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend stay at this historic inn. Sandy and Ming were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The made to order breakfast was delicious. The location is also excellent - a few mins drive to hunter and lots of restaurants nearby. The property also has great indoor and outdoor common spaces where we were able to relax after a long day of skiing. Cannot recommend this place enough - we will surely we back soon!

WE LOVE THIS PLACE. Sandy was amazing!! She made us feel so welcomed and was just great energy to be around! It was a last minute plan to stay overnight and we are SO happy we did. 2 minutes from Hunter, 9 min walk to the bar, simply perfect. The rooms all have names which is super unique (we stayed at Mt.Dew) and they were so cute and clean! The whole place itself felt like we were in a Christmas Hallmark movie. The breakfast was great and had such a variety. It was so cozy and honestly perfect. My boyfriend and I can’t wait to come back!!

We have stayed at the Fairlawn inn twice and plan to return. The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes to skiing at hunter mountain, or shopping, eating etc in quaint downtown tannersville. Owner Sandy made us feel like family. Breakfast is made fresh to order, rooms are absolutely lovely and anything you want is readily available. We were able to balance skiing and fun with work both in our room and the spacious common rooms of the Inn. An absolute must for a weekend away from the city!

My friend and I stayed in the Rose Room for one night to go snowboarding at Hunter Mountain. Definitely one of the best B&B experiences I’ve had, even just for one night! Sandy was extremely helpful, offered us anything that we needed without any hesitation. Made our stay feel welcome, hospitality was everything. Cute, quaint and clean room! Would definitely stay here again!
