Hunter Mountain Resort

The owners are very helpful and friendly. The scenery was beautiful, as was the star gazing. The rooms were basic but had what we needed. We were out hiking and site seeing most of the time and just needed a place to crash. They had a great little creek behind the rooms, with a swimming hole. It was great! I didnt have water shoes and the owner lent me hers. They gave us some delicious tomatoes from their garden too! Like I said, super nice people and we would come back!nThank you for everything!!

Very basic rooms but the location is amazing. The couple that owned the place was friendly and offered recommendations for local hikes and other attractions. There were grills and picnic tables in the patio as well as a private swimming hole in the Schoharie Creek with views of Hunter Mountain. Would definitely stay here again.

I’ve only ever been here for Oktoberfest, and I have not been into the actual resort rooms, but the grounds that the festival is held on are amazing. The music is good quality, the food is fairly priced and delicious, the mountains are beautiful, and there’s always loads of options for ciders and beers. It’s a wonderful festival to go to, especially for free

This place has the same name as the actual mountains resort. Unfortunately it gets mixed up reviews intended for the real mountain which I'm sure is fraudulent by the owners.nnIt's a piece of garbage. The beds are uncomfortable enough that you can barely sleep and way overpriced. I recently stayed at a $3 a night hostel in Peru which was better. Stay away.
