Pine Grove Motel

This is a REAL story. I swear:nnAbout 6 years ago, I was feeling very sick. Flu-ish to be exact. Living in New Jersey, I was up in Stormville NY for their flea market. After about 10 minutes there, I had to leave, but I could hardly drive any long distance back to Jersey. I was so weak and very sick.nnAround 1pm that day, I came upon the Pine Grove Motel by chance. I only needed to sleep for about 4 or 5 hours. The woman behind the desk was very kind and gave me their last room for a very reasonable price. She was so understanding! The booking was for about 4 hours (but she gave me an extra hour!). The room was down below the others and, although there was a little mildew smell (it was basement level), the bed was comfy, the TV was nice and the temperature perfect. Around 5pm, I had to vacate, but I felt 10 times better than when I arrived, thanks to the R N' R.nnThank you Pine Grove Motel!nn- Ron

Nice place nice people

I've been residing at this motel for over two months now and I feel right at home. The rooms are well kept. The owner is incredible. He is very respectful, polite, and , considerate. The price is very fare considering what all other motels in the surrounding area charge. I would absolutely recommend a short term and/or long term stay. And lastly, I agree you can't control who comes in but you can certainly control who stays. That said, he made sure to take control of the situation. Can't say enough about Pine Grove and the owner.

Better than most have previously described, but certainly not a 5 start quality place. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean, but stove in the efficiency I was in didn't work, the AC cover was broken but the AC worked fine, and the Internet was spotty. They do need to enforce the no smoking in rooms policy more as there can be a musk seeping into the halls and other rooms at times. Overall I was satisfied though.

Rooms and property well kept. Staff very nice and professional. Quiet country setting.
