I typically stay here in the whirlpool suite. In the past, I've had decent experiences which is why the rating remains a 3.nnHowever my most recent visit had a bunch of minor issues, the biggest one being the lack of hot water???? I paid premium price for a premium room to not be able to take full advantage of it. I had told the front desk staff, of course it's out of their control. I do understand that. But some communication prior to check in to disclose repairs would have been nice. The room I stayed in was also right above the pool so all day you just hear children screaming and playing. Kids are going to play, I get it. It was just very difficult to be able to relax in that environment. I'm not sure when I will stay again unless I'm able to choose a higher floor room and am certain that the hot water is operational.nnAll the other inconveniences may have just been amplified by the hot water annoyances. Other than that, the staff was very helpful and friendly as they could be.
This hotel is pretty nice and off the main traffic area of South Willow. I stayed two nights in a jacuzzi room.nnPROS:n* The tub was great and worth the extra money for the room.n* Everything seemed fresh and clean when we arrived.n* Grab and go breakfast bags had a good variety of options.n* Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our weekend stay.nnCONS:n* The bed was pretty worn and the springs were loose, which was not the most comfortable to sleep on.n* There was something spilled in the hallway outside our door on Friday night, and was still there Sunday morning when we checked out.n* There were also instances of people hanging out in the lobby without masks on, and no one was making an effort to enforce that safety rule.nnOverall we enjoyed our stay at this Best Western and with the lower room rates for (free) memberships, we will most likely be back.
Checked us into a room with a broken bed, and made it seem like it was no big deal, could hear the staff talking about how he was just in that room repairing something else, that he didn't believe someone was already in that room. The safe didn't work, they moved us 4 rooms down. This bed was fine, again safe didn't work. They offer this grab breakfast since covid 19. Warm bottle of water tea biscuits and a yogurt. Quality just doesn't seem important to this hotel. Also walkway wasn't salted and it had snowed, my husband and I almost fell getting out of the car. Had to inform the front desk, where I was told, it would happen when someone is available.
My fiancé and I stayed in the whirlpool suite and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We did have issues with the jets not working in our tub, but the manager Stephanie was very helpful in upgrading our room during our next stay to make up for that. The jets worked during my second stay and it was so relaxing having a whirlpool tub right in our room! The staff was very friendly during check in and check out and we will definitely be back to this hotel in the future.
Made a reservation you can cancel for free, Cancelled the reservations the same day online. They still charged me anyway, call them to ask for a refund and manager told me she can't refund it cause they can't afford to lose the revenue. I am a manager myself and understand it sucks when you lose revenue especially when you get profit based pay. However to tell a customer who canceled their reservation with free cancellation that is the reason you can't refund them is just Inexcusable.
