I interviewed several roofing contractors and was impressed with the owner of Green Mountain Contractors who personally showed up on time and went over the various options for dealing with my flat roof house. Our house, even though it is only 11 years old had a substandard modified bitumen roof. Based on the different scenarios for fixing it, I went with the silicone roofing system offered by GMC. The work was performed by a very dedicated and knowledgeable crew, at the agreed upon price, and has an excellent warranty. The crew arrived on time each day ready for work and at the end of each day left the site clean. We are very happy we went with Green Mountain and would highly recommend them!

They came out and inspected my roof, gave me several options, were very thorough and gave me information on the benefits of each. I went with a silicon coating and it was done in 2 days. 10/10 would recommend.

I am totally impressed with this company. From the roof estimate done by Zachary and the relationship with the Project Manager Almanzo and the work guided by Javier, the foreman on the project, it was well organized. Constant communication let me know when they were coming and they were on time which is always a big plus. They found the electrician that was needed because the electrical had to be to code and the swamp coolers raised up by 8 inches to raise the roof to prevent pooling of water. Everyone was very professional. I was even more impressed when at the end of each work day, tired as they may have been from working in the hot sun, they picked up any trash or material remnants and then blew the whole yard out, front and back. That was really going the extra mile. If I sent an email, I got an immediate response from Almanzo relative to my question. And when I asked to have pictures of my roof taken since I don't go up on the roof, he did that and sent them to me. I have no reservations about recommending this company. They did a complete and thorough job and I was completely satisfied with every aspect and every person I encountered. Great Company--I couldn't be happier!

My experience with Green Mountain Contractors was fantastic start to finish. I was purchasing a home with a 23 year old tar and gravel flat roof in the North Valley with signs of leaks in multiple areas. I worked with 6 different roofers that all had excellent reviews to get multiple opinions and bids. Green Mountain was able to come out the fastest, got me a bid within 24 hours, and Zach patiently walked me through different options (TPO, Silicone, and repairs to the tar + gravel). We talked through the pros/cons of each material and the cost differences. From a cost perspective, Green Mountain came in down the middle of the bunch. From a thoughtfulness, responsiveness, timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism perspective, Green Mountain was at the very top. Green Mountain was extremely communicative throughout the job. He checked in afterwards. His team showed up when they said they would and left the property as clean as they found it. Because this was for a home I was purchasing, Green Mountain had to run around and coordinate with the seller, the seller's insurance agent, myself, and the seller's agent. He also had to schedule the job with only a couple of days notice, and complete it within 3 days so we could make our closing date. Green Mountain was able to get it all done without making compromises on quality. Once I got into the home and inspected the roof, I found some extremely minor areas of concern. Green Mountain came back out promptly to address them. I will definitely be working with Green Mountain again on other projects for the home.
