Great owners! This place is quiet, peaceful with rustic charm hidden in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest. Sand Lake offers some of the best all around fishing from bluegills and crappies to perch and walleyes!

Our family has been staying at Pine Grove Lodge since 1987. What keeps us coming back year after year is the peacefulness and beauty of the resort as well as the Wahlstroms who take such great care and pride in making this resort truly the “Jewel of the North”. Our love for the tall pines, immaculate cabins, abundance of wildlife, fishing and boating, swimming and kayaking as well as just relaxing make for a wonderful vacation. You will not find a more awesome and beautiful resort in the middle of the Chippewa National Forest on gorgeous Sand Lake.
